Last weekend me and jayne rode the Bealach na Ba climb over to applecross and round the loop to Sheildaig and back from lochcarron.
Excellent loop for Climbs and Scenary ! Looking out over the Cullins from the top in t winter sun !

The actual Bealach isnt as bad as everyone i know whos ridden it makes out - cycling weakly seems to agree with Mike Cottys reviews (a man i feel is very qualified to say its not that hard ;) ) The loop however becomes a toughy when someone blows in your face for most of it at 30kph! its not flat despite looking it on the route profile there are 4 or 5 different 20-25% climbs on the loop.
Take food cause you wont find any on the loop.
