This is one of the main reasons im going , the southern alps are the backdrop to some cyclists riding along a wide and uninhabited road in New Zealand.
although i was reading another blog by a chap who had moved into a tent for a year while he reduced his debts and it seemed we had alot on common , except the debt !
we were both slightly nuts :D
5 weeks on monday i leave to tour round new zealands south island , north island and the southern corner of Austrailia mostly by bicycle , with some bus. I return on the 23rd of March via Dubai expect plenty of stories!
