
Its race season soon , giving up my daily coffee fix or rather i "have" given up my daily coffee fix.
From drinking 3 or 4 cups a day to nothing , cold turkey.
Lethargy and tiredness set in
Managed 5 days - then had a can of coke - was buzzing.
This is why im giving up caffiene - so i can get a "buzz" from it when im racing.

I did this a couple of years ago, works a treat at races. Now I only drink coffee before a training session. Buzz works every time this way, even though I drink 1-2 cups of black tea (sometimes green) throughout the day too, which is a much milder lift, along with the health benefits of tea.
cant do normal tea vile stuff - herbal tea on the other hand :D
