for those of you that know me you will know that unless im really wanting to do something getting me out my bed in the morning is a chore
so we will soon see if cycling to uni is going to work. I just need to think of the training aspect of it and how its gonna help me , aiming for 2 days this week ....and increasing as we go on over winter. using it as my base miles. its 17 miles each way on fairly flat terrain , the bike is a 42:14 fixed wheel using a surly rear hub built into a mavic open of some kind. The rest of the bike was kindly donated for the project by a friend of mine , Mary.I added the mudguards/rack off another bike of mine as it makes such a difference having a dry butt and a non loaded back when you get to uni
had this little project build on the go for a while but i think ive finally got it comfy and non twitchy
it started life as
it became (but was to low on the front on the drops and the bars were too narrow to sit on the flats)
it now looks like , much more upright and comfy
i think 60k a day twice a week ontop of what im doing is more than enough for just now.
